Do I need to pay for membership?
​You do not need to pay a fee to become an AfriCap member. Once you sign up you will have access to some (not all) financiers than can fund your startup idea or business. Once you become a member, we will give you regular updates on financiers in the market and what they are looking for.

To gain access to more financiers on our website you can either become a Bronze, Silver or Gold member.

This Category is best for Start-Ups or businesses that have recently launched. As a Bronze Member you will be able to access financiers who can fund ideas and startups that show market traction. Here you will only have access to the bronze members database.

This Category is for SME's that have been operational for 3+ years and have business structures. As a Silver Member you will be able to access financiers who can fund your established business up to USD 1M. Here you will also have access to the bronze members database.

This Category is for large SME's or Corporates with strong and sturdy business systems and structures. As a Gold Member you will be able to access financiers who can fund your established business above USD 1M. Here you will also have access to the bronze and silver members database.

What guarantee will I have of getting funding for my business?
Unfortunately, in life there are no guarantees! AfriCap is in the business of giving you the information you need to access financiers. We want you to know who is available to fund your business, how much they can finance and we also want to give you useful information on how to position your business to increase your chances of success.

How can I increase my chances of getting funding?
You can increase your chances of getting funding by reading the tips provided for each financier. These tips will tell you what the financier is looking for and how to position your business accordingly. You can also reach out to a capital advisor from AfriCap, we would be more than happy to help!
